| 1969 | Start of the first experimental production line of ultra thin polypropylene dielectric film for the capacitor industry. |

| 1976 | Establishment of the U.S. subsidiary Bollore Inc, a converting company supplying both films and paper to the capacitor industry |
| 1981 | Establishment of a second U.S. factory dedicated to the metallization and converting of dielectric film. |
| 1983 | Start of the new overwrap shrink film business. |
| 1993 | Establishment of the Chinese subsidiary BSDM, specialized in the metallization of dielectric films. |
